Furniture Restoration
 For the restoration and repair of wood
furniture, upholstery, valuable antiques, priceless family heirlooms
and traditional furnishings come to Classic Furniture Services. We
offer one-stop shopping. Our 12,500 square foot facility houses one of
New England's largest, most comprehensive furniture restoration,
refinishing and custom furniture services.
We offer a pick-up and delivery service in Southern New England. We
also offer furniture pick-up, delivery, storage, assembly and
installation services to companies, designers, architects, decorators
and residential clients. Our fully insured facility is electronically
monitored 24 hours a day to provide a safe home away from home for your
most prized possessions during restoration and refinishing. Major

Furniture Refinishing &
Repairs
 Do you have a bedroom set, dining room
set, desk, piano, or
any other piece of furniture that needs to be refinished? Our lacquer
finish is the highest quality and most attractive finish you can find.
After stripping away the old finish by hand or in a safe flow-over
method (never dip stripped which can harm wood and glue joints), we
sand and prepare the piece for finishing. We apply the finish using our
multiple-coat process and carefully hand rub the surface between coats.
This assures a long-lasting, water resistant, beautiful finish that
feels as smooth as silk - the same finish used by the most prominent
furniture manufacturers.
We can custom
mix
a stain or spray paint to match your existing furniture or
recommend one of our custom mixed stains. We also offer customized
finishes like distressed painting at a fraction of the cost found at
distinctive furniture stores.
 For
do-it-yourselfers, we offer an economical strip-only
service.
When we're done, your piece is ready to be lightly sanded, stained and
finished. We also offer architectural
stripping
to help
restore those heavily painted doors, windows, moldings, fireplace
mantles, shutters, etc. Designed just for architectural stripping, our
"cold solvent" stripping tank will remove all the old paint without
raising the grain and loosening glue joints.
Got a difficult
repair? Not for Classic Furniture Services. Our complete woodworking
shop enables us to repair just about anything you can imagine. And many
types of repairs can be done onsite in your home or office, so the
furniture does not have to be moved. Here's just a sample of what we

Piano Restoration, Refinishing &
Repairs
 There's a lot that goes into restoring a
piano. We have
what it takes to turn your old spinet, upright or grand into a
beautiful piece of furniture, as well as a fine musical instrument.

 Classic
Furniture Services offers full-service claims handling for most of the
largest moving companies and insurance companies. We've worked hard to
earn our reputation as New England's leader in the transit damage
repair business. Our experienced road techs can provide full inspection
reports with digital photos on all damaged items and property damage,
and our mobile units are fully equipped to perform onsite repairs to
damaged furniture and other items. Where needed, we can set up truck
